An overall internal and external communications review is a healthy thing to do for your business every couple of years. At Spotlight Communications we often carry these out as part of a Brand Audit, but sometimes clients like to review the overall communications function as a means of keeping everything in line on a more regular basis.
We take a holistic look at your communications process to make sure that the language is consistent and that all activity is reflective of company values and culture. As part of this we often interview staff and we then provide you with our findings and a set of recommendations if required.
The following is a sample of the areas we review:
External Communications Review:
From advertising , point of sale, your website, business cards and letter heads to press releases , photographs, banners, flyers, signage and training manuals.
Internal Communications Review:
Talk to staff members about their jobs and how they carry out day to day duties, discuss their understanding of the organisation and its aims and goals. Review the company mission and vision statements.
Your Competitive Environment Review:
We also take a look at your competitors and business partners as well as your customers – what they say to you and what they say about you!
If you are happy with our communications review we will then provide you with a strategic plan for the business to incorporate our recommendations and advise methods of implementation.
